Doug Giles

Doug Giles and his father Bill founded Palm Tree Doctor in 1991. Doug has been in the industry since he was a teenager, establishing our method of treatment that is unique in the industry. He is still active in the field almost every day. In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Michael enjoys video traveling and relaxing in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

• State of Florida Certified Pest Control Operator, certificate JF 6787, 1992 to 2015.
• ISA Certified Arborist, certificate FL-0287, 1996 to 2015
• State of Florida Limited Commercial Fertilizer Applicator, certificate LF 204096, 2013 to 2015

Michael Spinelli

Spinelli Michael Spinelli is our most experienced field representative and was our very first full-time technician, beginning in 1995. Michael is our manager, lead trainer and trouble-shooter. Michael has a great love of palms and is an innovator and pioneer in the industry, having helped develop new palm treatment techniques to achieve superior results. He is also an active member of the marketing department. In his spare time, Michael enjoys traveling and relaxing in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
